stefan
born february 19th, 1981 in klagenfurt, austria. after going trough the usual course of life (kindergarten, grammar school) i attended tanzenberg high school, a small catholic school about 15 km away from klagenfurt. after graduating there i moved on to sweden and finland. nearly two years later i returned home – with a bag of memories good and bad and a will to dream re-ignited.

in summer 2003 i started working for the kleine zeitung, austria’s second largest newspaper. in some way there i found what i had been looking for so dearly – not only a job, but in some way or another a purpose, a mission as i like to call it. through my job i have met and spoken to some of the most interesting people in my life, known, unknown, rich, poor, happy, sad, fulfilled and distressed. and by each story i heard and recorded, by each journey i took and by the things i have seen i have changed as well.

oh yes. there used to be some more personal stuff, people who meant and still mean an awful lot to me. in the end i had to draw a line somewhere and i hope that those i love and think of know who they are. back home in austria, in finland and all over the world.

some people have been asking why it says “i believe” under each of my entries. i don’t remember how it got started, but today it expresses my life for life and my believe in god (or however you’d call him).

i believe.
