what a weekend that was. i started feeling really sick on sunday but wne to work nevertheless not wanting to leave my colleagues by themselves (especially because i leave for manchester next friday and i know what a hard week it is for all of us) – bad idea, the fever i had surpressed with a few aspirin came back full force. i barely got a any sleep that night and the fever rose and rose. thanks to astrid, i didn’t die. just kidding, but she took really good care of me. to all the fuzz added an incident or better accident that had happened sunday night. a girl crashed her scooter into astrid”s car while she was leaving a parking space in fron of our office, where she had brought me the aspirin. the girl was 14 didn’t have a license but apparantly already a solid police record. luckily she was unhurt, but things will go to court now. i am pretty sure that from the position that astrid’s car was in, police could see that the girl was going on the far left side of the road, apparantly speeding in a 30 km/h-zone. i still can’t believe how stupid some kids can be (and yes i was still scared that the girl was hurt in some way, though she refused to call the police or an ambulance at first, which we did nevertheless..)… anyway, it was a tough weekend, but everything worked out in some way or another. i recovered quicker than i thought, astrid is fine and we were assured in some way or another, that when it counts most we can rely on each other.
i believe.
