We hardly ever realise what we have accomplished until we take a good look back. Happiness doesn’t happen in a straight line. And looking back at 2024 there are many things to be proud of: I moved again, I studied hard to accomplish another type rating (and boy, that was rough at times). I saw the world from above flying to the US, Caribbean, Seychelles and all across the planet. To achieve the life-long dream of becoming a pilot and getting to see in a day what others don’t see in their lifetime has been a privilege. A privilege that comes at a cost – spending way too little time with the not so little Mikko who I miss every day. Maybe the best is yet to come.
