There’s a full moon rising

Had practice again yesterday, met a friend afterwards and we drove up to the lake to have a drink. I didn’t notice the full moon rising at first, but there it was gracefully glowing above our heads, a slight tint of orange in its shine. I cdouldn’t wait to get home, took my grandad’s old binoculars and just stared at the it. Right now from this point of the planet, you can see Mars pretty well too. They looked magic, even with a standard binocular you could see details of the moon surface, it’s roughness and then again its unbelievable shine through a dark night…
