Bianca had her 23rd birthday yesterday. Went out for dinner and had a pretty interesting discussion – Bianca had spent 1 1/2 years in San Diego – of how being abroad, spending time away from the people and things we know, changes us. We just came up with the fact that at some point you just go “click” and a somewhat big world suddenly becomes very small, you start seeing things from a totally different perspective. The microcosm you have spent most of your life in, suddenly opens its doors to a bigger, more colorful world yet to explore. And the feeling in general, no matter if you spend your time in San Diego, USA or Jyväskylä, Finland seems to be same: Unlimited vision.
