New beginnings.

First of all, thanks to my dear friend Stefan for inviting me to contribute to this. It really is something special and I hope that I can only do it justice. Somehow it is fitting that today I feel like my life is starting again, not that it ever stopped but was rather frozen in some way. After months of wondering where I will be next year, I feel somehow grounded again just by knowing that someone wants to give me a job. It may mean a new place, new people to meet, but for the first time in a long time, that feels right again. Even better news is the birth of Rose Jane Patel, first daughter to my friends Michaela and Jim. I know they are scared, but I also know that this little girl will be one of the most loved and happy little girls ever to grace this earth.

Life is truly beautiful.
