A long december.

Looks like we’ll soon be able to welcome a new member onboard mindwork.net. Uhm, where should I start. I met Patrick a long long time ago (I guess 1997?) online. We both were quite new to the net and I think both fascinated by the possibility of just chatting online with people thousands of miles away from you. Our talks became so frequent, that I just decided to invite his wife Pam and him over from Cleveland, Ohio. I couldn’t believe it, when they actually did it and flew over to visit me in Klagenfurt. It took me nearly 2 years to pay them a visit back, when me and Wolfgang went to Cleveland (and what a great time we had, remember Toronto?) Well school, army, then university kept me busy, so our contact was always reduced to some kind of minimum. But it was always there. Patrick’s got two kids now, Jess and Jeremy and I have lived in Sweden and Finland in the meantime. Well, way to go to start rebuilding a friendship that actually always existed. Welcome Patrick.
