A free voice.

We’ve had regional elections here yesterday. It was the first time I could vote at home. Not only was it the first time in my life I could be in the middle of it as a journalist, but also to make use of my democratic right to vote. To express what I believe in. To express that I care about this place and its people. While some people here can’t be bothered to just make use of their voice, people in countries not as democratic and free as our nation don’t have a voice. History is full of people dying for what they believe in, people dying for something we get delivered to our doorstep: a free voice.

I believe.
