L’auberge Espagnole.

A long time ago it occurred to be that I have met many people in my life already and some of these I have had the good fortune to call my friends. In some cases it was for a short time, in other cases these friendships have already spanned more than a decade. The distinction however rarely has much to do with any falling out or problem, but rather more often than not, it is about different people growing in different ways and their lives moving in different directions. At first this saddened me, until I began to realise that sometimes you meet people who are everything to you at some stage in your life, you need them as much as they need you, then things change. You may never keep in contact, or see each other again, but it makes the interaction no less meaningful.
The real beauty of it all is that now I find myself here, in an old place, the same person I always was but also somehow different. Still me, but at the same time the sum of all the people who have touched my life, especially in the last 3-4 years.

It’s a delicate blend of the old with the new, but miraculously, it works and that is why like Stefan

I believe too.
