A swedish state of mind.

Sometimes insignificant things happen to you, just to realize, that whatever happens, happens for a reason. There are no coincidences. Take the last two days for example. I went to Hamburg on a press trip my alarm didn’t go off, so I missed the bus to the airport and took a cab, which got into an accident and I missed my flight. Wheew. Called some of the people I had been studying together with in Sweden and we got together for an instant-reunion. There we were, yesterday evening – the four of us that spent day and night together back then in Sweden. Even after all this time (Astrid and Sinni became a couple in the meantime) it still felt the same. We were still the friends we had been back there during the fall and winter of 2001. We got out of the last bar late and went on in different directions. However, I guess all of us went with the same feeling: a swedish state of mind.

I believe.
