me and tommy went to vienna yesterday. it was a long planned trip to see u2 on their “elevation” tour and besides that just a great occasion to spend some time with my best friend. i still can´t believe how perfect it went. it took us barely 2 3/4 hours to vienna, parked the car went to resa´s place to pick the key for the place i stayed at, went to the place where the concert was (we thought we´d be hours to late, box offices hat beeen opened at 2 and we were there at 5) instantly got our reserved tickets – then just queued and surprise surprise our entrance was one of the first to be opened…i stood 1st row at the big heart shaped stage they had…bono was about 1 meter away from me – meaning i would have been able to touch him if there wasn´t nasty security….they played all the songs, elevation, where the streets have no name, sunday bloody sunday, kite, new york, one, with or without you…it was just 2 1/4 hours of pure party….just to hear all my favourite songs in one place live was a great feeling but the show itself added to being truly elevated….
