Siegfried Kampl – member of the BZÖ and former Bundesrat today resigned from his office under public pressure. Kampl called deserters of the German Wehrmacht “murderers of their comrades” and criticized how Ex-Nazis “were hunted down” after the end of World War II. BZÖ-Spokesman Uwe Scheuch called Kampl “flawless” even after public pressure started to build up. Now what kind of country is this, we’re living in? Which kind of place would allow anyone to bend and break history as the former FPÖ and now BZÖ does. Oh just in case you were wondering – FPÖ-member John Gudenus was later overheard claming “that the existence of gas chambers in concentration camp schould be scientifically proven”. History stands still in anger.
