Yesterday, even I had to laugh at the absurdity of the last few days. As if I am part of some bizarre cosmic joke I’m not party to, or it is just something sent to test me, my week went from bad to worse yesterday. It started when I blew a tyre on my morning ride (not close to home, of course), then a student collapsed in one of my lectures and I had to get them rushed to hospital. If that were not already enough, I then dropped my computer and it looks like the HDD is dead and nothing is going to bring it back. So, on the first weekend in ages that I had done my best to keep clear, I have all this ‘free’ time to completely reinstall my laptop before I head up north for a few days on Monday.
When life gets this ridiculous, you’ve just gotta laugh…
