out on a small lake.
i was driving from the university to the computer shop, realizing that a chapter in my life may have just come to an end. hockey´s been always a big part of my life, actually i´ve played on a team since i was 9 or so. 11 years wow, what a time, got to know loads of people, learned the sometimes hard rules on teams but i loved every bit of it. i loved playing here in sweden, where they have their flags everywhere, i loved wearing that small swedish team´s dress for the 4 games i played. i loved the moment in that game we lost 8-1 when i scored the only goal and for a moment time stood still. i don´t exactly remember how many championships i won with my old team back home, but if someone would ask me what was the most remarkable moment in my hockey life it was that one goal in front of (for me) so many people including my friends and my girlfriend. now that i can´t pay the fee required by the iihf (international ice hockey federation, it´s about 700 dollars) – i´m still thankful for what hockey has given me.
i believe.
