A few days later than we expected, but today it has finally rained. I mean real rain, the sort that comes with thunder and lightening, that announces, “I’m here, and I’m not going anywhere soon”. As everyone else raced inside for shelter I couldn’t help but go outside, to stand in it, feel the water on my skin and the fresh, clean chill in the air. On days like this I wish I could be not in my humble little garden but somewhere in the forest where you can watch as this rain brings the place to life.
Nature at her most beautiful and hopfully enough to ease the drought a bit as well.
