Whoever quoted ‘hell week’ must have been talking about college finals week. I just finished my last test today and it took me three hours. I am thankful it is over but dread finding out how I did. Even if I think I did well, there is still some part of me that harbors the thought of doing badly. My inner fear coming out from hiding. <\/p>\n
I have only 12 days left until I leave this country. It is getting so close but it still feels like an eternity away. I haven’t really given myself a lot of time off to think about it with 2 jobs and school – now that school is out, I’ll just work more. Nevertheless, my dreams are going to become real soon enough. How crazy it is to think of it all! I once heard the quote “Only those who are crazy enough to think they can change the world actually do.”<\/span> Winter is upon us but there isn’t a lot of snow to be found. It is very patchy and mostly consists of dangerous bits of ice on the ground. One step on that and you’re bound to fall flat on your face. I know, I’ve done it in years past. I’ve gotten lucky so far this year but it is yet to be over. I can’t imagine what Christmas would be like without snow. Even when I lived in North Carolina it always managed to snow a few days beforehand and it would stay just long enough to give you that holiday feeling. We have also been having a lot of wind. That is what makes winter unpleasant up here.
