Fortunately I met Leon not long before I left the USA. I say fortunately, because for some reason which I cannot define in any tangible way, there is something special about him. Also, because at a time when I couldn’t work out who I was, or where in the world I wanted to be, I met another Australian with a story similar to mine but at the same time entirely different. Like so many other things, this in some small, yet hugely significant way helped to shape my final decision. A decision that I am sure was the right one.<\/p>\n
Now he is embarking on a great journey of his own. I admire him for the guts to just go out and do it and to follow a dream. Sometimes I wish I had the guts to do the same.<\/p>\n
