There is nowhere to escape to, no refuge at work, but rather constant reminders everywhere you turn.  Now that I am beyond the absolute shock, confusion is taking over and all I want is answers that I doubt I will ever get. Fear even begins to creep in, as I see each person dealing with this in his or her own way and wonder if this will really bring us closer together and not tear the place apart.<br \/>\nAt least today, through all the mess and confusion, I saw hope for the former. In one small conversation with a student who needed nothing more than to talk and know that I too don&#8217;t have the answers.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Life does not put things in front of us that we are unable to handle&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>but it doesn&#8217;t mean that we have to handle them alone.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>worth so much more than that.
