i ask questions. it’s my job. it’s what i’ve been trained for. journalists know it’s their right to ask. in turn, i am hardly surprised by any questions i am asked myself. one of the most unusual i had to answer lately was “what picture would you put up at your own funeral – what kind of person would it show?”. the answer however was clear: the one sanna gave me for christmas 2003. it’s me on the ferry, somwehere on the baltic sea between old memories and new hopes. looking out on the ocean i looked back on 15 months in finland, my second home. i guess it shows the person i am but can’t be towards anybody. it’s me, feeling entirely quiet inside.<\/p>\n
