it’s been such an exciting past week with me preparing my departure to the DPRK (or north korea as we call it). i’ve been reading as much as i could about the country and still it feel surreal that i am actually heading off to a place very few people will ever have the chance seeing in their lifetime. i was having sushi with astrid in the evening yesterday and for a moment just realized how lucky i am. i am 26, i am a journalist and i get to see some of the most extraordinary places in the world. as i am clueless on how and if there will be an internet connection (i believe the IIHF OC claimed there’d be a special access point for journalists..) i can not guarantee any regular updates during the next two weeks, but i’ll make sure i post something anytime i am connected.<\/p>\n
