there is something about being told ‘thank you’ with a sincere smile on the lips and eyes looking right at me that goes straight to my heart. it could be the feeling of being useful, or the nice contact with people. but the main reason is that it makes me feel like a good person, like i deserve the place that is assigned to me. it feels good to enjoy everyday’s little miracles but it feels better to have realized i can make those miracles happen. i don’t know if thank you’s and such things make the world go around, but it does put a smile on my face and brightens my days.
