riitta had the headache of her life on sunday, so i walked down to the city, where i had left the car saturday evening, to drop by my grandma and then at the pharmacy. everything worked out until the pharmacy thing, were about three people were queueing in front of me. each of them, as it seemed, took forever. i was standing to the side of the entrance and another guy arrived, pushing himself into the queue in front of me. i didn’t say anything for the sake of not wanting to cause a fight (call me cowardish) and kept waiting. finally it turns out he was buying some emergency injections for his dad, who seemed to be in a pretty bad shape as from what i could hear the pharmascist say. pushing yourself into a queue is one thing (and it really gets me mad at times) – but then again, there’s people with problems far greater than losing a minute or two on a sunday afternoon, that’s what i learned on a sunny spring sunday at the end of the queue.
i believe.
